It has been a long week and it is only Wednesday. Today, Alex has finally turned a corner. He is actually pretty happy and not as whiny as he has been the past five days. Last night we actually had a good night together and tonight has been good so far as well. I think Alex actually showed me the all done sign when he was done eating tonight. That is a step in the right direction for communication. He has been very frustrated lately and I am thinking it is because he can't tell us what he wants. He is quite the walker these days and is getting pretty confidant. His latest feat is pushing the chairs all over the kitchen. He also learned uh-oh at daycare. It is pretty cute to hear him say it.
Tonight we are going to visit Tanya, Ted and Stella at Gillette Children's Hospital. Stella had her surgery and is recovering well. Alex had a fun time playing with her last time we were together and we hope she is feeling better so they can play again soon.
